Matthew Love completed his Bachelor of Law at the University of Queensland in the year 2000. Matthew is committed to a comprehensive and meticulous approach when handling all his clients’ matters.
Matthew is a very experienced solicitor, who practices almost exclusively in Family Law. He has acted in many cases covering the full range of family law and de facto relationship issues. He is recognised by his peers as an outstanding family lawyer.
Matthew is also a Nationally Accredited family law mediator who assists many families to resolve their disputes in a co-operative framework.
The feedback from Matthew’s clients reflects that he is efficient, effective and honest. He is friendly and down-to-earth. Outside of the office, Matthew enjoys spending time with his young family, meditation and playing acoustic guitar.
Matthew graduated with a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Queensland in 1998 and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice in 1999 from the Queensland University of Technology. He has since completed a Master of Science degree from the University of Warwick (UK) and will complete his Master of Applied Law with a major in Family Law in 2018.
He is an experienced litigator in both parenting and property matters who understands that better solutions are usually reached when the parties reach an early resolution. Matthew can also assist with drafting and advising on Financial Agreements no matter what stage your relationship is at. Matthew is based at our newest office in Aspley.
When away from work, Matthew enjoys travel, reading science fiction, and spending time with his family.

You can rely on him to provide accurate and honest advice in a way you can understand. His skill, focus on the issues that matter most and ability to negotiate make him an excellent family lawyer, but what stands out the most is his commitment to his clients; Michael will make sure he understands your individual circumstances and your goals, and will work hard to help you achieve them quickly and efficiently.
Michael is the newest member of Matthew Love Family Lawyers and is based at our office in Capalaba. When he isn’t at work, you will probably find him either fishing or cooking, and (sometimes) combining the two.
